Located in the heart of the Gold Coast in Bundall. Brooklyn & Ki is an up and coming New York industrial inspired styled salon.

Our goal at Brooklyn and Ki is to achieve amazing colours and styles, while retaining the health and integrity of our clients hair. There is nothing more amazing than when our clients walk out our doors feeling incredible, like they can take on the world!

We pride ourselves on our customer service, and knowledge in the industry. With our stylist getting constant education in all aspects of our field.

B&K HISTORY:

After the business was purchased in December 2017 by Brooke, it officially changed its name from Diamonds and curls to Brooklyn and Ki Hair mid August 2018

​

On December 1st 2022 B&K Hair studio rebranded. After living abroad in Europe Brooke felt like she had changed as a person. Then realized these past 5 years of owning B&K she had gown so much. What Brooke has learnt & experienced along the way, she just felt that this wasn't the same salon anymore and neither was Brooke.

So after the salon moved locations Oct 2022 and her return Nov 2022 the NEW B&K HAIR STUDIO WAS BORN

AWARDS AND ACCOLADES:

Brooke was chosen from an overwhelming amount of entries to be apart of the Matrix HOT team. Which will continue to see her be mentored by globally recognised artists to become the next generation of influential super stylist.

She won Matrix 2019 Collective, colour competitions (Peoples choice)

Brooke is regularly doing photoshoots and was just recently published in  SALYSE French Magazine.

Brooke gets her inspiration from her mentors:

Australian colourist of the year- Stevie English

Global hairdresser of the year- Kobi Bokshish,

NSW/ACT hairdresser of the year- Adam Ciaccia.

ECO FRIENDLY:

We're an environmentally friendly and cruelty free salon

using world class brands like: Matrix Colour/products, Paul Mitchell & American Crew products.

​

 We are a Matrix colour salon, which is the number one colour in the US. Matrix is in low chemicals and ammonia.

We also stock Paul Mitchell products that are eco-friendly, vegan, paraben and sulphate free. 

We plan to make some exciting changes in the near future!

At Brooklyn and Ki Hair, we are environmentally conscious.

Our commitment to the environment also includes:

•  Using water-saving devices in the salon that have 5-star water saving ratings

•  Using low wattage fluorescent lighting and natural light.

•  Using energy efficient appliances
